If you've listened to The Hungry Ghost CD...

... I have a favor to ask. Please go to Amazon.com and write a review of it.

The reason I'm asking is that the most recent review posted is by a gentleman who - in my humble opinion - needs to get a life. Why do I say this? Not because he completely trashed my work, which he did. Nothing to do with that. I get trashed all the time. For me, if you're pissing people off, you must be doing something right.

No, the reason I think this guy has too much time on his hands is - get this - he has not listened to the album he's reviewing. How do I know? Because he admits it.

So please, go to Amazon.com and add your 2 cents. Your review doesn't even have to be positive. In fact, make it as honest and truthful as you can. All I ask is that you've listened to the CD all the way through. At least once.

The City of One

Wanna hear something cool?

Here's a track produced by me, and written by my pal Anison Roberts aka The Impaler, who also provided the vocals. It's called "Under Donna's Command".

Anison is one of the best lyric writers I've ever come across. One thing that struck me when I first heard this song was that on the surface it appears to be about an S&M-type relationship between a dominatrix and her slave. However, try replacing the name "Donna" with "Jesus". Or "Satan". Or "Uncle Sam". Or "Momma". You get my drift. It's a lyric that has many layers. Many possible meanings. To me, that's the mark of a great songwriter.

Listen to "Under Donna's Command", then let me know what you think of it.

Evil Never Dies...

Cass Corridor is an ongoing comic (written & illustrated by yours truly) about strange goings-on of a gothic and metaphysical nature in the legendary Detroit neighborhood where The Hungry Ghost sound was developed.

Chapter 5: "Evil Never Dies" provides a strange new twist to the storyline as a character who perished in an earlier chapter returns... just as our intrepid journalist Rona Eden is faced with a difficult decision, one which depends on just how far she's willing to go to satisfy her dark curiosities.

Check it out, and when you're done reading, be sure to let me know what you think! I need some feedback on this one. I started it as an experiment to see if I had the discipline to produce a comic book. Well, if this is to be an ongoing title, I've now completed enough material for the first 2 issues. Issue 1 would comprise of Chapters 1-2, while Chapters 3-5 would make up issue 2. I'm working on issue 3 as we speak and plan to go full speed ahead from now on.

What do you think? Would you like to see Cass Corridor in graphic novel format, available at your local bookstore? Your feedback would be very helpful, especially if I'm to approach a publisher with this material.
